When visiting the UAE, tourists should be aware of its rich cultural heritage rooted in Islamic traditions. Respect local customs and dress modestly in public. Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas, while public displays of affection and offensive language are strongly discouraged and can be against the law. Please note that laws can change depending on which Emirate you are in.

Muslims engage in five daily prayers, with the beautiful call to prayer resounding from local mosques. As a non-Muslim, you are welcome to admire this melodic tradition. However, there are no obligations exist for non-Muslims to participate.  Embracing the diversity and customs of the UAE enhances your experience while respecting the local culture.
